Rabbits and Rottweilers?

In the new year my mum is buying me a rottweiler puppy as a house warming present which i am stoked about, i grew up with them, when my mum fainted and i was 5 the dog was the reason i didn't hurt myself in the house by myself. But i also wanted to get a little baby bunny, and im not a big fan of caging them, so if i get them both at a young age, is it likely that i will be able to train them to be kinda friends? example: not completely attack each other? or should i just leave the rabbit and just have the dog?
