There is a commercial on the food network with Martha Stewart hold a blue dim. star. How do you make that?!?

It was probably more around Christmas time, that I saw this commercial. It was a glimps of Martha Stewart Holding up a dimensional blue star. It looks like it could have been made out of paper, but I am not sure. On any matter, I am having a star themed wedding and wanted to make something like the star she was holding for centerpieces and such. Does anyone know how to make that star or something similar to it? A web site with a step by step of some type would be best. Thank you so much to all that help me out! It's greatly appreciated.
