What can I mix with my fish?

Yes, neon tetras will be fine, but make sure you add in the other Barbs first. Otherwise the small group of barbs will antagonize the tetras. Of course this then leads the barbs to become firmly entrenched in the tank before the tetras come in, but I think the tradeoff is worth it.
